Do You Choose To Accept?

choost to accept

God’s grace is more than available for all-No matter how bad we’ve been. Truth be told: a lot of people live in guilt and condemnation under the misconception of God’s wrath. Jesus Christ is the solution to God’s wrath against sin. It is important to note that God loves people (sinners) but hates the evil that people do (sin). Jesus Christ died for all so that sin would not have the upper hand against us. The victory is ours already. In other words, He paid a price for us so that we could live freely from the bondage of evil and sin. Simply put, we received a free gift that cost Him His life. This is what we call Grace.

Here’s the catch: We must accept His gift of Grace. Getting you a gift is one thing, but you accepting it is another. Many refuse to accept this beautiful gift. Instead, they live in guilt and condemnation. Dear friend, accept Gods gift without any cost and live your best life yet.

Others continue in sinful acts and profess that they have the gift of Grace. This is far from the truth. Yes, God’s grace is available to all, but you can disregard it by accepting evil gifts instead. What are evil gifts? The pleasures of sin and its desires. Anytime you know the right thing to do and you ignore it to do wrong, you have accepted evil gifts. As a precaution, kindly note that gifts come in beautiful wrappers. However as the saying goes “all that glitters is not gold.” Don’t be deceived.

The Grace of God, when you accept it, empowers you to reject evil gifts. How sweet is that! So do you choose to accept?

Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous livingRomans 6:12 & 16
