A Heart For Others

Trust this meets you well. I’m sending you loads of light and love.

Over the next couple of posts, I would be sharing on A Heart For Others. I have discovered that a lot of people do not understand the full concept of Christianity. They believe it is just about having a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Though correct, this is not complete. Christianity without serving or having a heart for others is no christianity. In summary, it is about serving God and serving people. We must continue to develop our hearts for others.

Your relationship with God is very important, but your relationship with people is also important. There are some people that believe that they are ‘saints’ but truth be told, they are just nasty. They say “I don’t care what you think about me, only what God thinks about me is important to me.” While the essence of the statement holds true, the reality doesn’tand we will see why so.

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Who do men say that I am? Mark 8:27.

I don’t think that the opinions of others added to who Jesus Christ was, but it was necessary to get a feedback of their perception

Though the opinions of others should not define you, their feedback can improve your development as a person—your critic might be an asset to you—eat the meat and throw away the bones. In other words, look for truth for your growth and discard hogwash.

The brand of Christianity is ‘Love,’ not ‘Nasty.’ Work on your attitude towards others and listen consistently for feedback, leading to your growth. We will continue our discussion in the next post. Kindly feel free to comment below to join the conversation.

1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
