It Is Not About Anyone But Jesus Christ

It is much bigger than any individual. God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die for a lost world. His coming had been prophesied from the beginning and throughout the Old Testament, becoming a reality in the New Testament of the Bible. The entire bible speaks about Jesus Christ and should be preached about Jesus Christ, without distortion. It is all about Jesus Christ. He is Lord; He took over our impoverishment and gave us his wealth. Families must not leave their children out of God’s agenda of redemption. Everyone has a part to play, leaving no role more important than the other.

Once we get acquainted with this reality, life takes shape and our perception is changed. We do not need to work hard or try harder at living perfect lives. Since it is all about Jesus Christ, our focus or attention is taken off ourselves and put on him. We will no longer begin to see ourselves as sinful but see him as sinless. We will no longer see ourselves as imperfect but see him as perfect. No more darkness in us but light in him. The load of not being good enough is dropped, and his perfection is placed on us. Life will no longer be seen as a challenge because we are no longer in control but Jesus Christ. Isn’t that amazing? When Jesus Christ is the central focus of our lives, there is a whole new world of possibilities and brightness in all we do, including our relationships; with God, ourselves and others. It’s not about you, it is about Jesus Christ.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
